Undergraduate Program

Undergraduate Education is carried out as First and Secondary Education. Undergraduate education is completed in four years. The courses are divided into two semesters and the compulsory courses are shown in the faculty program. In the first two semesters of undergraduate education, the Department offers a variety of general courses to prepare students for more technical and specific studies in the third and fourth years. The program of the last two years has been designed to provide the student with a more advanced knowledge of Statistics as well as training in many applied fields.

Students who successfully complete all courses in the undergraduate program take a bachelor's degree in Statistics and a Statistician title..

Graduates can work in quantitative analysis planning units, insurance companies, quality control units of industries, production control and technology development stages, the process of experimental regulation of agriculture related sectors, computer programming companies and banks. Thus, a statistician can be employed by the companies concerned with numerical evaluation, such as the State Planning Organization, Industry and Trade Ministry, Turkey Statistical Institute (TUIK), Institute for Standards. In addition, statisticians can work as a researcher and trainer in other departments of Statistics.

Graduate Program (MSc)

Students who successfully complete all courses in the Master of Science program take a Master's degree in Statistics.
